I am requesting a list from the building master on costs for possible additions. The current list of idea's are:
- Hidden place to store keys ((Aka, hidden depot outside so your keys can stay nice and safe in there.)) - Dungeon - Workroom - Barracks
The hidding place in and among itself will cost us a good gold coin. We have not been given a possible lay out for any of these additions nor a price. Personally I would like to see the hidden key holder to be put in first along with a dungeon so we can hold people who can't seem to be held in Trolls Bane. Along with this, I would like for the workroom to be on the same level.
Does anyone have any other suggestions?

Maybe a place to train and an Armoury as well? And maybe add some kind possibility to grow food and maybe also add a wall unless we have that already? Don't remember if we have that already or not. Maybe add apple and/or cherry trees as well? =) I agree with Hawk - we need a place to train - though the roof and courtyard suffice for now, so I don't see it as a needed change at the moment. But apple and cherry trees are a bright idea - the more self-sufficient we can be the better. I will be happy to help in the area of planting trees once we have room for them.

What do we need immediately? Personally I really think we need a dungeon to put people, right now we have Poiuy wandering around the castle because Bane doesn't have a suitable jail. Along with that addition, I think it may be a good idea to add a little workplace in the dungeon if we have some extra space.
Please tell me what you think is critical, not what you think is nice. I am waiting for a layout of just what I have listed in the first parchment from the building master. Seems he is backed up right now, so I will get back to you all when I get a dove from him.

Dan A well is crucial I would say. If a fire starts in the castle what to do if we don't have a well? If we wanna cook, where get water if not in a well? Yeah, you get the picture.... =)

We have a fountain in the courtyard and we are also not far from the trollsbane aquiary. Are you sure we need a well?

Lovely place you have right now. My suggestion is expand back a bit. Trees can be planted. How about lodgings? A nice bed to sleep in. Just no peeking, Hawk. I am sure Amaria wouldn't appreciate it.
A well could be built, in case of seiges, but I wouldn't be surprised if it required more work than others. A small field may be wanted, but it wouldn't grow onions. If you plan to grow wheat, you may as well get a millstone. Personally I feel that a workshop would be nice, but I rather not promote the warrior who crafts. I wouldn't mind using it, and having it locked...
A jail would be nice. The knights kidnapping people would be -so- much easier then! And there wouldn't be a need to tell anyone about this either. The less who know, the better I believe.
An armory would be nice to have, though I suggest that you build other things first. A seperate depot would be needed and then lots of weapons to be mounted.

However funny Artimer thinks he is being I second most of what he's saying.
A jail is needed. We don't want another Poiuy incident. Also, I have always been backing the idea of adding barracks and private rooms for the knights. (The second is less needed, though.) However, I am curious as to why an onion field wouldn't be allowed - I am admittedly ignorant to the goings of farming so if anyone could enlighten me it would be appreciated.

I asked the builder to draw up designs a good dwarven month ago. He has not given me a responce as of yet. If you can make him understand what we need, that would be most apprechiated.
I am thinking that the dugeon would be located underneither the castle. The way down would be next to the other ladder with the cells on the other side of floor. Next to the stairs, approximately where the meeting room is above it, we could put in a small workshop so that weapons and armor can be made at the very least. Let me know if this makes sence.

We have figured out that the area behind the court yard connects to the valley of the golems. I intend to ask the builder if we can put a gate connecting to the main castle there, or if we can find a way to remove the opening. The shaft can always be used for something if the builder allows it.
